Whether you're looking to market breeding stock through our annual auction or market finished animals directly to processors, the Southeast Bison Association offers two trusted marketing options to fit your operation.
Annual Association Auction
Perfect for producers marketing breeding stock, replacement animals, commercial females, bulls, or calves.
The Southeast Bison Association Annual Auction is held each year at Lazy G Ranch in Cookeville, Tennessee and will host a simulcast auction where buyers can attend in-person or online.
What to Expect
Upon arrival, every animal will be processed through the Berlinic chute where they will:
Be officially weighed
Receive a veterinary health inspection
Receive two floppy ear tags: One matching the last digits of the animal's EID tag and one with the consignor’s initials.
Receive an official EID tag if one is not already present
Photography and videos to showcase your animals.
Consignors are responsible for:
• Commission • Veterinary Inspection / Health Certificate • Ear Tags • EID Tag (if needed) • Chute Processing • Yardage • Labor, if applicable
Direct Market Program
Designed for producers marketing finished animals directly to processors.
Animals are delivered to one of the Association's participating feedyards where they will remain for a minimum of 30 days to allow for conditioning prior to harvest.
Once the bison are market-ready, the Southeast Bison Association works directly with processing partners to assemble full pot-load lots, helping producers access competitive market pricing.
